Woke at 9am, Pam made the richest hot chocolate for me, Ciobar, along with peach preserves and honey from their hives on site. I called to wish Rebecca and Sandy a happy Mother’s Day, and then we pretty much hung out all day at the villa - not terribly exciting.
We looked at Gian Luigi’s bees, I did a bunch of reading the last book of my Cicero trilogy, then we went out for an aperitvo and went all the way back to the town where we were the night before. Pam had an idea that she wanted to go to a restaurant on the sea, but Gian Luigi picked another place. We had our drinks and antipasti, then back to the villa.
